Terms of business Wessex PAT testing will carry out portable appliance testing, in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, which states electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.
Our tariffs are; £39.95 plus £1.00 per item tested (discounted over 100 items to 0.90p). No VAT is charged. For over 100 items contact the office for a personalised quote 01305 558100 / 07570 770780.
Radiation test for microwaves £3.50. No VAT is charged. To carry out minor repairs during an onsite visit we have the following tariff; Replacing plugs £4.00 (including new plug) per item. No VAT is charged.
Rewiring plug/shortening cables £2.00 per item. No VAT is charged. A PDF certificate will be provided via email once payment has been received.
Our testers are fully DBS-checked. A while-you-wait service is available at our workshop in Milborne St Andrew, near Blandford with a tariff of £3.50 per item (min £10.00) by appointment only. No VAT is charged.
We accept payment to our bank account as per the invoice or cash at the time of testing. We are unable to accept card payments.
We use the latest Parker Bell testing equipment which is calibrated every 24 months to ensure accuracy. We reserve the right to add extra charges if equipment is difficult to reach and expect any equipment or furniture to be moved – allowing access to plugs.
